Most women are wearing the wrong bra size, and most don't know it. Getting this right isn't about vanity — it's about comfort, posture, and how your clothes fit day to day. The good news: you can measure yourself accurately at home in under five minutes.

Step 1: Measure your band size

Wrap a soft tape measure snugly around your ribcage, directly under your bust. Keep it parallel to the floor and breathe normally. Round to the nearest whole number — this is your band size.

Step 2: Measure your bust

Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust, keeping it level. Don't pull it tight — it should sit comfortably against your skin.

Step 3: Calculate your cup size

Subtract your band measurement from your bust measurement. Each inch of difference corresponds to a cup size (1 inch = A, 2 inches = B, 3 inches = C, and so on).

Step 4: Check the fit, not just the number

A well-fitting bra sits flat against your chest, the band doesn't ride up in back, and straps don't dig in. If you're between sizes, size down in the band and up in the cup for the closest match.

Step 5: Re-measure every 6–12 months

Weight changes, and even everyday wear and tear on elastic, shift your size over time. A quick re-check keeps you comfortable.

Getting your size right is the single biggest thing you can do for comfort — before choosing a style, a fabric, or a color.
